Information

Florida In Style is a collage painting from Florida-based art, fashion, and real estate. This is the second piece of my collage painting series, where I distort images to make them feel strange and render subjects with different techniques. I enjoy using techniques that derive from traditional practice and applying them within contemporary means. In my work, I focus on the human figure or elements related to the figure. My intention of these collage paintings is to experiment with oil in multiple ways, pushing the idea of collage beyond the image.
