Information

Welcome to Florida, Indulge is a collage painting that stems from Florida-based art, fashion, and real estate. This is the first piece of my collage painting series, where I explore ways to distort images in a painting. My goal is to make them feel strange and render subjects with different techniques on the same picture plane. I enjoy using techniques that derive from traditional practice and applying them within contemporary means, focusing on the human figure. In these collage paintings, I experiment with oil in multiple ways to push the idea of collage beyond the image.
