Information

One Balloon Tuba Loon has its origins on a boring trip from Washington DC to New York in 2015. In need of any entertainment, I sketched a cartoon the concept of which was, "What is better than one balloon? Tuba loons!" This elicited from me a very audible giggle fit which afforded me a bit more room on the crowded bus (killing two birds and such).

Completely opposite of my typical body of work, this particular image, and others like it, are usually reserved for those closer to me. While most of my more public images are reflections of my own introspection, One Balloon Tuba Loon is representative of the jovial, whimsical persona I present to the outside world.
