Years before the painting, while on the road to meet me at a cabin in Vermont, my brothers jokingly began calling McDonald's "Dick Daniels." The joke persisted, even evolved, eventually gaining a clown themed mascot: Donald Dick Daniels. Though Donald Dick Daniels existed conceptually for years, it wasn't until the first summer of covid that he gained the visage you see here today. He would like you to eat all the hamburgers.
