Information

The power and confidence of leopards inspired me to paint this highly decorative piece embellished with brass leaf. "Guardian Leopard" is your protector and watches over your sacred space allowing only those of a benevolent nature to enter.

Postage stamps, vintage sheet music and mono Gelli prints of leaves, a ginkgo leaf from the tree in my yard and a fern found on a nature walk were also collaged into this mixed media masterpiece.

You will also find some Chinese stenciling to echo my ancestors and pen marks made with a flourish.

Many layers of rich transparent glazes increase depth and the subtle gradations of blue and gold.
