"Horses that look into your soul" is a mixed media piece incorporating fumed copper (chemistry / fumes produced patina), enamels, natural pigments stabilized in resin, and fixed with micro-crystalline wax.
We often think about what have meaning in our lives. Of things that transcend the mere surface and reach deeper. Sometimes we look to protect our inner-self and pretend nothing can touch it or bring it up to the surface. But there are those times in which we encounter someone that can look into your eyes and read your true intensions and feelings. We say, " it looked into my soul". It is said that horses have the ability to synchronize with the rider by looking into its soul. Only then they become one in performance by their bond. A "symbiotic" relationship of trust, loyalty and respect that often is vital to both. A miracle that happens when horses look into your soul.
