"Mary Jane's Horse" is on a 5"x5" colorized Squarescape TileÃ‚Â© on Bristol Paper from Bolen's Survival Inc. ART FOR SURVIVAL ""Escape to Zen"" line of tiles. As an armchair artist, I draw from my imagination with no particular objective or story in mind. I see faces and creatures among the random patterns and lines formed by the merging of the background mix of colors and texture of the paper surface. These characters interact with one another, fitting together like pieces of a puzzle. The little cherub girl derived her name from her Mary Jane shoes, and the object of her awe and wonder is her green horse. A variety of color pencils and ink pens were used to enhance the imagery. Floated on a piece of French natural handmade paper.
