Information

"Fly Away Home" is on an approximately 4.5" x 4.75" Leafscape TileÃ‚Â© on a color Bristol Paper from Bolen's Survival Inc. ART FOR SURVIVAL "Escape to Zen" line of tiles. As an armchair artist, I draw from my imagination with no particular objective or story in mind and texture of the paper surface. Inspiration for this tile was from a variety of Zentangletm patterns creating the detailed strata of the leafy landscape. Dolly Bolen Czt's pattern "Mush Rooms" is the main feature, which I turned into a Ladybug's home. It seemed only appropriate that the neighboring home be made from an acorn, fit for a Bumblebee! Mr. Snail is coming to visit his friends. A variety of color pencils and ink pens were used to enhance the imagery. Floated on a piece of French natural handmade paper.
