I created "Ocean Dance" to embody the multifaceted nature of the ocean; the dichotomy between its serene beauty and its latent power. I deliberately harnessed the tension between the material and the subject - bending and reshaping common nails, (traditionally considered to be masculine, rigid and utilitarian), to evoke a sense of movement and feminine, playful fluidity. This wave beckons with its curves while cautioning with its perilous points.
