Information

This is an original and one of a kind scratchboard artwork. I wanted to depict a prisoner who has been long forgotten. His chains have become part of his body. He has been starved as evidenced by the emaciated face.
I used a fiberglass brush and fine grit sanding sponge to remove the black ink from the scratchboard panel. The image has been formed by the special white clay below the layer of ink.
