Information

Aside from my college careeer and a few years after that, I've never considered myself much of a nocturnal person, but what fun I had when I was! So many stories... so much mischief... so much fun... So many memories were made during the "After Hours" of my younger days.

Fast forward to now and 10pm is bedtime... there are three big responsibilities sleeping in the other room... a mortgage... and everything that comes along with that...and although these nights I'm sound asleep; I always smile when i recall my wild and nocturnal, though short lived, "After Hours" lifestyle of waitressing late and partying even later. Good times.

"After Hours" is one of four paintings in my "Wild Side" series in which I paired female characters, representational of some of my own life stories, with their creature counterparts. I have always had a deep love and connection with animals, often relating to them far more easily than I could with my fellow human. My intention with this series was to inspire the viewer to always live their true, untamed versions of themselves. Live life unfiltered.
