Seven year old me, an avid Captain Planet and the Planeteers viewer, was convinced that my generation, a generation well aware of pollution, climate change and the need to recycle, would take up arms in the war against planetary destruction. Thirty something years later though and not only have we not gotten our planet killing problems under control, but we're actually at a tipping point, a point of no return for Earth...

Do I think there's any hope left for our little planet? I want to believe that there is... I have to believe that there is but I still can't help to think though, that if Captain Planet were to come back in some 2022 reboot, he'd be less than enthused with our 'clean up the planet' progress.
