Myakka River State Park is a Florida gem. So many natural environments to check out on foot, bike or car. Palmetto palms, sabal palms and oaks create dense thickets that reach out for our attention to remind us...that this is the real Florida. This photograph is a long exposure taken on a calm, overcast winter day. Framed in salvaged wood siding from a house built in the 1880's.
