This work is inspired by Italian painter, Modigliani and Di Vinci
This piece features flowers, butterflies and hearts merged with classic art history figures.
Cool colors create the mood. The figures seem to be deeply daydreaming. Or perhaps they woke up this way. Peaceful and calm.
I use a multilayered collage process. The canvas is painted, then stamps to create more texture and pattern. All collage pieces were hand cut from art history books and decoupaged to the canvas. Paint pens used in the details.
