Spanish Poppies

While on a two week roadtrip through Portugal and Spain in late spring of 2021, I fell in love with the color of the Spanish Poppies. Normally a vibrant red, these were tinted in cantaloupe and marigold. A lovely contrast against the deep forest green stems and foliage and warm sandy browns. They were the color of happiness and sunshine.
