Information

Winter Orange is a piece that combines the warmth of fall colors with the coolness of winter snow. It represents the transition from fall to winter. I started off the piece by covering it with clear gesso, then created horizontal and vertical textures out of it - after that, I used a base layer of orange, followed by subsequent layers and washes.
