Instead of eating the mushroom that the Caterpillar offered her, Alice smoked the mysterious substance out of itâ€™s hookah. Alice consumed a nectar that cost her freedom & innocence. She became addicted in her youth & grew up imprisoned in a delusional wonderland. Her body has begun to age & deteriorate into a fantastical apparition. There are holes in her skin, skin that is translucentâ€¦fading. Her hair is a milky white & yet she still smiles, glistens. Visibly content & happy in her own euphoria. She has succumbed to the poison; the budding wings are evidence of this. But the real demons hide above, gnawing at what remains of her lost mind & soulâ€¦.
