Everyone has moments to think and ponder. For many of us, it is our bed. It can act as a respite or a prison or both.

The creation of this painting is the result of a complex process involving the application and molding of texture paste, followed by a base layer of light-colored acrylics, followed by an oil wash, followed by subsequent oil highlights, shadows, details, and glazing.
