Information

Primordial soup is the basic aqueous solution of organic compounds that accumulated in bodies of water in the early stages of life on earth. Over time, from this "soup" evolved the very first organisms to exist and evolve into all the magnificent creatures that have ever roamed the planet. This piece began as a simple watercolor drip pour, a messy soup. After several years the artist then revisited the piece and began a freehand drawing. Outlining the creatures/organisms she saw in the pour drips with ink. Thus, allowing the piece transform and grow into a beautiful reflection of life, death and chaos here on planet earth.
