Information

One of my favorite things about living in Florida is the pop-up showers in the afternoons during the summer. The clouds are so dynamic and the light reflects and changes within a single billow of cloud. In the painting, I tried to convey the light and colors of a storm cloud. The scene is from Fort DeSoto Beach, which looks vastly different now after recent hurricanes changed the dunes.
