Information

This painting is one of my favorite pieces. The reference photo was taken at Starkey Park just as the sun was rising. It becomes obvious why these are the golden hours. I really concentrated on finding the warmth in the sunlight as it filtered through the trees. I have come to appreciate moments like these because they are never exactly the same and they don't last very long. It's important to be fully present to really appreciate the beauty.
