Information

My infatuation with Van Gogh and his work lead to a series that I called my live with Van Gogh . I imagined everyday activities that we would share. The activities were set in modern times but I attempted to recreate his signature style and color palette. Cruisin’ was one of those light hearted pieces that I chose pastel as my medium. The pastel allowed for countless layers that helped me achieve a complex color palette and directional lines that create a sense of movement and whimsy. This piece was one of my favorite in this series.
