Information

This unique graphite and charcoal piece was originally done for a trompe l’oeil show. I had the concept of two hands drawing each other. I wasn’t sure exactly what that would look like. I decided to hold a pencil in my hand and use a mirror for the reflection. That photo helped me get the proper dimensions.
The title “Draw” is a play on words. I imagine these two hands are locked in a duel. To begin the battle they cry out “Draw!” And pencils jump into action. Had a lot of fun with this one.
