Information

Fire Station No. 5 in Tampa, Florida, has a rich history dating back to its establishment in the early 20th century. Built in 1911, the station is one of the oldest in the city and is characterized by its distinctive architecture. The space was repurposed as an event venue called Red Door No. 5 which tastefully preserved the esthetic of the fire station.

I was driving by this place during errands and had my camera with me and the striking red doors of the fire station caught my eye. The contrast to the white paint and the blue sky makes for a pleasing image.

Shot with a Pentax 67ii medium format camera on Kodak Gold 200 film.
