Taken at a pavilion at local lake. I was standing here watching the wading birds and wishing I had brought a telephoto lens when I just decided to look up, and saw this view and I knew I had to capture it. I had black and white film loaded at the time and I am glad I did because I think contrast in this scene does very well with monochrome, especially the detail of the wood grain in the overhead beams. The 6x6 square format of the Hasselblad 500c frames this scene perfectly in my option and the leading lines draw you in, which I think has more impact than it would on rectangle format.
Shot on Kentmere Pan 100 film with a Hasseblad 500c.
