Information

Five Dueces Galleria's October Black and White challenge inspired this monochromatic painting but I didn't finish it in time to submit! It was such a fun change and I'll be doing more like this! This Key West beach scene of resort chairs, umbrellas and even the towels created such fascinating patterns in black and white.
This painting took 3 layers of Titanium White and Payne's Grey to create the smooth blending of the sky and beach gear.
