“Solitude In The Fog” captures a scene where the surrounding landscape is completely dominated by a thick fog. In the foreground, the trees are sharp and clear, while the rest of the landscape is dull and fuzzy. The landscape steers away from modern photo-taking styles where one must capture drama and action. The photograph is about the quiet of solitude and the leaves the rest of the image to the imagination. The only dominate objects are the fog and landscape, which are almost devoid of detail, and of course the spaced trees. I enjoy this photograph because the seemingly distant landscape makes it look as if the rest of the world is quiet and calm.
